The Palais des Congrès de Tours, known as Vinci from 1993 to 2017, is the international convention centre of Tours. It is attached to the railway station, making it one of the best-connected congress venues in the Loire Valley.
The centre has three auditoriums: François Ier (2,000 to 2,500 seats), Ronsard (700) and Descartes (350 to 400), plus 22 meeting rooms. The Agnès Sorel lounge covers 1,500 m² and the Daniel Bourdu space 2,500 m²; exhibition surface is 2,500 to 3,800 m². Total capacity is up to 5,000 participants simultaneously.
Tours works for conventions with a Loire Valley programme: private château receptions, wine estates in Vouvray and Chinon, and gastronomic dinners, all within a short drive.
