Alpine Tasting Quest is a team session that turns a regional tasting into a friendly competition. Colleagues are split into teams and move through a series of pairings: a wine or a craft beer, matured cheeses and local charcuterie, each introduced by a short explanation of the producers and the way the product is made. Between the pairings, teams answer quiz questions and take part in light games in which points are earned for knowledge, observation and teamwork. The format lets people who do not usually talk at work find a shared topic, because everyone can taste, guess and argue about the results. Participants choose between a wine-led and a beer-led session, or combine both, depending on the preferences of the group. The programme suits an early evening after a seminar, a welcome dinner or a team reward, and it can be held in a private room or a venue with a terrace, depending on the season. The atmosphere stays relaxed, and the instructors keep the quiz short enough that the conversation never stops. The final ranking is announced with a small prize, and the group can continue informally afterwards. Products, producers and the number of pairings are chosen with the client, and every element is adapted to dietary requirements, which are collected in advance.

Frequently asked questions
Do participants need to know about wine or beer?
No. Each pairing is introduced with a short explanation, and the quiz is designed for every level of familiarity. Curiosity is more useful than expertise.
Can the session be held in a private room?
Yes. A private room is recommended for larger groups, and a venue with a terrace can be chosen when the weather allows. The setting is confirmed according to the date and the number of guests.
Can the tasting be combined with a seminar?
Yes. It works well as a closing activity or as a welcome for a seminar, and the timing is agreed in advance so that the programme runs smoothly.
