Marseille Chanot is the city's convention and exhibition complex, on a 17-hectare site near the Prado and the Vélodrome. Since 1 January 2025 it has been operated by Marseille Events, a GL events subsidiary, under a public service delegation.
The tourism office describes about 60,000 m² of modular space arranged in several 'palais', among them the Palais des Congrès, Grand Palais, Palais de la Méditerranée, Palais Phocéen (14,000 m²) and Palais des Événements, the plenary hall, quoted at up to 3,200 seats.
