Every morning, the slopes of a ski resort are ready because a team has worked on them through the night. The piste-grooming machine is at the heart of that work, and few visitors ever get to sit at its controls. This experience gives a small group the chance to discover the machine and the job behind it, with a professional who explains the controls, the safety rules and the way the snow is shaped.
The session is designed to be instructive rather than technical. Participants learn how the machine works, why the snow surface is prepared the way it is, and how the team organises the grooming of a large area in a short time. The conversation naturally turns to the people who do this work and to the challenges of winter operations, which gives the experience an educational dimension that many groups find unexpected.
It works as a distinctive highlight within a luxury incentive or a seminar in a resort, and it can be combined with a dinner or a visit to other parts of the resort's behind-the-scenes. The route, the timing and the level of involvement are adapted to the conditions on the day and to the wishes of the group.
