Orienteering is one of the most effective team exercises for groups that want to build trust and clarity. In this format, the teams work with a map and a compass, follow markers across a protected reserve, and reach a series of stations where they must complete a task before moving on. The guides keep the safety and the rhythm, while the teams take the decisions about which route to follow.
The stations are where the group's habits show. Some tasks ask for precision, such as a demanding throw or a careful hand, others ask for coordination, such as moving as one unit through a short challenge. Every task is explained clearly and all members must be involved, so no one can simply watch. The views over the lake give the day a calm backdrop that contrasts with the energy of the competition.
The expedition fits a seminar morning or a full day of activities, and it can be extended with extra stops, such as a lakeside break or a tasting. The route, the number of stations and the difficulty of the tasks are adapted to the group, to the season and to the conditions on the day.
