The Palais de la Musique et des Congrès (PMC) is Strasbourg's main congress and concert venue, at Wacken beside the European Parliament district. Designed by Dietrich Untertrifaller and opened in 2008, it combines concert halls and conference rooms in one complex.
The Erasme hall takes 1,870 to 1,876 people, the Schweitzer hall about 1,200 and the Cassin hall about 500 to 570. The building has several exhibition spaces. The overall floor area is between 44,500 and 50,000 m², confirmed with the venue.
