Journey
Budget
From approximately €3,000 per person excluding VAT
Indicative figure for 30 participants over five days, based on four nights (two in Paris and two in Nice) on a double-occupancy basis, with hotel rooms, meals, the private yacht half-day, the Grasse workshop, the Cannes beach evening, the Paris cooking workshop, and group coach and TGV transfers. Airfares and VAT are excluded. Summer and the Cannes festival period carry higher rates and tighter availability, so we advise reserving the hotels first.
Häufige Fragen
Can the programme be adapted for Ramadan?
Yes. If the dates fall in Ramadan, we move the main meals to iftar and suhoor times, schedule sessions and activities for the morning and early afternoon, keep physical activity outside fasting hours, and place evening events after iftar. A quiet room for prayer is requested at the hotels and, on request, at the venues, with the qibla direction indicated. Iftar times change each day, so we confirm the timetable one week before arrival.
How are halal, alcohol-free and other dietary needs handled?
Requests are collected before arrival, including halal, vegetarian, pescatarian, seafood allergy and alcohol-free options. Each hotel, restaurant and activity provider confirms in writing what it can offer. Halal certification depends on each kitchen, so we do not assume it: every meal, including the yacht lunch, is confirmed in advance.
How should sessions and evening events be timed for teams in the UAE?
Dubai is 2 to 3 hours ahead of Paris, depending on the season. A 17:00 start in Paris is 19:00 in Dubai, so we suggest late-afternoon sessions and evening events. The Riviera days avoid early-morning calls, except the optional Grasse workshop, which can be skipped.
Which airports and stations does the group use?
Most flights from the Gulf arrive at Charles de Gaulle, where guests are met and taken to Paris by private coach, about 50 minutes away depending on traffic. For the Riviera, the group travels by TGV from Paris Gare de Lyon to Nice-Ville. Departures use Nice Côte d'Azur airport, or the TGV back to Paris for connections through Charles de Gaulle.
Do Gulf nationals need a visa for France?
It depends on nationality. Holders of UAE passports can generally enter the Schengen area without a visa for short stays, but some other Gulf nationalities may need a Schengen visa. Each guest should check the current requirements on the official French or EU visa website, as consulates can take several weeks. ETIAS is being introduced for visa-exempt travellers, so the requirement should be checked for the travel dates.
