The cocarde race is the best known of the traditional games of the Camargue. A young bull carries a small rosette, the cocarde, between its horns, and the raseteurs, white-clad riders, try to take it in a short and intense sequence. The skill lies in timing, agility and courage, and the crowd follows each move with attention.
For a company group, the programme offers a closer look at this sport. The participants are briefed on the rules and the safety measures, then take part in a session alongside the riders. Depending on the format chosen, the group can be placed on the side, take on a role in the organisation or try a simplified version of the game in a controlled space. The estate's team explains the history of the game and the traditions behind it at each step.
The activity is a strong moment of a programme. It can be combined with a lunch or a tasting, and it gives the group a shared story to tell afterwards. The format, the number of sessions and the level of involvement are adapted to the season, the number of participants and the wishes of the client.
